We put these four together so you can taste the whole loose leaf range and find the one that becomes yours. Start light with the Asamushi sencha, clean and crisp with that fresh high mountain lift. Move to the Fukamushi sencha next, deeper and bolder, a cloudy dark green cup that fills the mouth. Genmaicha is the comfort one, toasted brown rice and mellow sencha together, nutty and easy to drink any time. Finish on the hojicha, roasted dark, warm and toasty with chestnut and a soft citrus note, low enough in caffeine to drink at night. Four teas, one each for a different time of day and a different mood. The canisters keep them fresh while you work through them.

Take 1 tsp (2 g) of tea leaves into an infuser.
Pour 180 ml of 80°C hot water.
Steep for 1 - 3 minutes.
Filter the tea leaves and pour into a cup.
