What are the shipping time frames?

Most Australian metro orders arrive in 1 to 3 business days. Regional Australia is 3 to 7 business days. International orders generally land in 5 to 10 business days depending on destination. We ship via Australia Post across all three services, and your tracking number is emailed the moment your order leaves our Melbourne warehouse.

Free shipping applies on all orders over $40 AUD. Below that, standard shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

Australian shipping time frames

Metro Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Darwin, Canberra and surrounding suburbs): 1 to 3 business days from dispatch.

Regional Australia (areas outside major metro zones): 3 to 7 business days from dispatch.

Express Post is available at checkout for faster delivery, typically 1 to 2 business days for metro and 2 to 3 business days for regional addresses.

International shipping time frames

International orders ship from our Melbourne warehouse via Australia Post International. Standard delivery is 5 to 10 business days to most destinations, though some regions can take longer due to customs processing.

For some international markets, you may find it faster to buy through a local marketplace listing. Teafy is stocked on Amazon US, Amazon Canada, Amazon Europe (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain), Walmart in the US, and Etsy. Buying through your local marketplace can mean faster delivery and easier returns in your region.

When does my order ship?

Orders placed before 12pm AEST on a business day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12pm or on weekends and public holidays will ship the next business day.

Once your order leaves our warehouse, you'll receive a confirmation email with an Australia Post tracking number. You can track the order through Australia Post's website or app from that point.

Cold chain shipping for matcha

All Teafy matcha is held at 0 to 4 degrees Celsius in our Melbourne cold room until your order ships. Once dispatched, the matcha is packaged to maintain freshness during transit. For most domestic orders this transition is fast enough that the cold chain is preserved.

For international orders or extended summer heat conditions, we recommend ordering smaller quantities more often rather than larger bulk orders, so the matcha doesn't sit in transit at high temperatures longer than necessary.

What if my order is taking longer than expected?

Australia Post tracking is the most accurate source of where your order currently is. If your tracking hasn't updated for several days, or your order is significantly past the time frames above, contact us at info@teafy.com.au with your order number and we'll investigate with Australia Post on your behalf.
